A wife caught her husband engaging in sexual behaviour with a 14-year-old girl after installing a secret camera in his office.
Anthony Merrikin, 42, of Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire, was caught after his wife grew increasingly suspicious of him and thought she had a love rival.
But when she viewed the footage she was horrified to find her husband sexually abusing a 14-year-old girl, Grimsby Crown Court heard.
Merrikin immediately confessed and has been jailed for six years and nine months.
The victim told the court: ‘I am living in constant fear that something is going to happen.
‘I struggle to think about what has happened.
‘I cry a lot. It hurts a lot. I try not to think about Tony because it brings back bad memories. I still think about what happened every day.’
Prosecutor Jeremy Evans said Merrikin had groomed the teenage girl and there was sexual behaviour between them at his place of work.
The charity boss was told in court that he had ‘deceived his family’.
He was also given an indefinite sexual harm prevention order, and must sign on as a sex offender indefinitely.
Robert Underwood, mitigating, described Merrikin’s behaviour ‘as a moment of madness’.
However Judge John Thackray QC told Merrikin: ‘These are very serious sexual offences against a child.’
